As part of an all remote team, you’ll be highly autonomous but have a big impact. We value results, not time spent at your screen – you get to manage that yourself, and work however, wherever and whenever you want.

We pay competitive salaries, health insurance, and, depending on your location, grant stock options or stock appreciation rights. But you may find that the biggest benefit is the people you’ll get to work with, as well as the culture of responsibility and results.

Content Marketing Manager

Sidero Labs is a small, growing company revolutionizing Kubernetes with our innovative SaaS and Kubernetes focused Linux Operating System. We’re on a mission to make Kubernetes easy, secure and usable, and we’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our passionate team and help us to the next level.

Sidero Labs develops two main technologies: Talos Linux and Omni. Talos Linux is a minimal, secure, immutable operating system to run Kubernetes clusters, while Omni streamlines management of clusters built on top of Talos Linux.

This is a full-time remote role. We can hire at any location, but the preference will be for candidates in the European or U.S. time zones.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Content Marketer who is comfortable crafting engaging narratives, targeted to the decision making audience, to showcase our technologies and the benefits they can realize in their organization. The content produced will principally be for our enterprise product Omni, with some content on Talos.

This position reports to the Head of Marketing. The ideal candidate has an understanding of operating systems, cloud native technologies, Kubernetes, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and elevate Sidero’s voice in the tech community, we want to hear from you!

Here’s what you will do:

  • Content Creation: Working with the Head of Marketing, you will contribute to the creation of the content calendar. You will create a variety of content including blog posts, white papers, eBooks, case studies, newsletters, email campaigns, video, and web content. You will also assist in creating scripts and assets for webinars, videos, and live presentations.

  • Storytelling: Collaborating with the Head of Project, the Director of Customer Success, and the engineering team to translate the technical concepts into narratives tailored to the decision making audience. This will include talking about our features in a way the decision making audience cares, producing launch blogs and other content, and producing content that takes the technical value of the Sidero’s products and helps the audience understand how it will improve their environment.

  • Content Distribution: Work with the Head of Marketing to deliver content across our blog platforms, video channels, podcasts, for newsletters and social media, and partner channels.

What we’re looking for:

  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system, cloud native technologies, Kubernetes, and software infrastructure.

  • Experience in creating content plans and writing marketing content.

  • Preferred experience with containerization technologies.

  • Collaborative work style and someone who is ready to dig in and get their hands dirty!

What you get:

  • The chance to make a real impact on a growing company with a mission you can be proud of.

  • A competitive salary and benefits package including equity compensation.

  • A fast-paced, collaborative work environment where you can learn and grow.

  • The opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team.
